Woodland Heights Fire recovery meeting to take place June 28
Although
the majority of the Woodland Heights Fire was in unincorporated Larimer County,
the Town of Estes Park will be assisting Larimer County by leading fire recovery
efforts. For those who were directly impacted by the fire, the Town of Estes
Park is coordinating a recovery meeting on Thursday, June 28 at the Estes Park
High School, 1600 Manford Ave. The meeting will begin with an introductory
presentation at 7:30 p.m., followed by an opportunity to meet with various
organizations until approximately 10 p.m.
The
following organizations have been invited to the meeting:
- Larimer County Public Health
- Larimer County Environmental Health
- Larimer County Human Services
- Larimer County Sheriff
- Estes Park Police
- Utilities
- Estes Valley Fire Protection District
- Town of Estes Park Planning and Building Services
- Colorado State Office of Insurance
- Interfaith Council
- Estes Park Housing Authority
- Disaster relief organizations
