The Department of Local Affairs and the Department of Public Safety have numerous individuals representing state agencies on the High Park Fire. These resources include: Office of Information Technology, Colorado State Forest Service, Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Department of Transportation, Homeland Security, Division of Local Governments, Colorado National Guard and the Colorado Division of Emergency Management.
The Colorado Division of Emergency Management (CDEM) currently has two Field Managers at High Park Fire providing support to local agencies regarding mutual aid and state resources. Examples of state resources coordinated through CDEM are the Colorado National Guard resources from the Ft. Collins Armory to support the Type II Incident Management Team and Blackhawk Helicopters for wildfire suppression and support.
