A Beulah Hill Fire Donation Center opens on Sunday, October 9 to accept specific items for fire survivors. The Donation Center is located the State Fairgrounds, 4-H Auditorium in Pueblo. The collection of donations will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning on Sunday October 9 and running through
October 16. The Center is managed by a partnership between the State of Colorado's
Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Adventist
Community Services Disaster Relief and the Pueblo County Sheriff's
Office.
Items Needed for Donation
The items requested and limited to the following:
- Food
- New clothing and underwear-all
sizes
- Paper towels/products
- New bath towels
- New bed linens and new
pillows
- Baby diapers
- Cleaning supplies
- Laundry supplies
- Pet
supplies
- Gloves
- Trash bags
- Tools
- Pots and pans
- Sunscreen
- Hygiene
products
- Gift cards
Items Not Accepted
The donation center cannot accept the following items:
- No appliances
- No mattresses
- No furniture
- No home cooked food
- No used clothing or shoes
- No electronics
Items Available at the Disaster Assistance Center
Bulk
items of food and clean up kits are available at the Disaster
Assistance Center (DAC). The DAC is also at the 4-H Auditorium for Beulah Hill Fire
residents.
Cash Donations and Volunteers Accepted Online
Cash assistance for Beulah Hill Fire relief is being
collected by Pueblo United Way. Volunteers may also sign up at
HelpColoradoNow.org.
