The DHSEM Director, Kevin Klein, has activated the State Resource Mobilization Plan in anticipation of resources needed to support the fire. The Governor has given verbal authorization for a state disaster declaration. Local disaster declarations have been authorized by Logan and Phillips Counties.
An update will be posted after a 10 a.m. coordination call.
State resources assigned to the fire include:
- Type III Incident Management Team (IMT) from Jefferson County and Eastern IMT.
- 2 Strike Teams
- 2 Colorado DHSEM Regional Field Managers
- 2 Colorado DFPC Fire Management Officers
