The Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Mineral offices will re-open for normal business on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 8 a.m. The offices were closed to business operations from May 19 - 22, 2017 while building systems were updated. The updates were successfully completed.
The DHSEM staff were able to implement their Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) during the building systems upgrades. Staff were able to work out of office space at the department headquarters and other remote locations. This also included using the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environments' Department Operations Center as an alternative State EOC during Friday's storm storms.
