State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Status Level 2
SEOC
continues to support of the following: Cold Weather Emergency January 11 - 16, Migrant Sheltering Support in
Denver, Marshall Fire Recovery and DR4731 June Storms Recovery. The SEOC will monitor the impacts and resource requests related to extreme cold weather that is forecasted through the holiday weekend.
SEOC is operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cold Weather Emergency Support
The SEOC transitioned to Level II operations following the verbal emergency disaster declaration by Gov. Polis to support the cold weather event from January 11 - 16, 2024. The emergency declaration authorizes the use of the Colorado National Guard as a resource if requested by a local jurisdiction for assistance. Below is a map of current cold weather warming centers.
