State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Status Level 3

SEOC continues to support of the following: U.S. 50 Blue Mesa Reservoir Bridge Closure, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Weld County

SEOC is operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI)

The Governor of Colorado verbally declared a disaster emergency on July 5, 2024. This declaration activates the State Emergency Operations Plan and directs the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to take all necessary and appropriate State actions to assist the affected jurisdictions with their response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.

The Colorado State Emergency Operations Center is supporting and monitoring the fires below.  Information is also updated on our wildfire map

    • County emergency declaration approved on July 30, 2024
    • State Executive Order issued July 30.
    • FEMA authorized Fire Management Assistance Grant funds on July 31.

      • Purpose: Other resources, including information about debris removal, land rehabilitation, and hazardous material disposal, will be available
      • Location: The Ranch Event Complex (5280 Arena Circle, South Hall, Loveland, CO, 80538). 
      • Dates: Open Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    • Size: 7,202 Acres
    • Containment: 67%
