State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Status Level 3

SEOC continues to support of the following: U.S. 50 Blue Mesa Reservoir Bridge Closure and EMAC deployments to support locations impacted by Hurricane Helene.

SEOC is operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hurricane Milton Deployment

  • 9 Member Emergency Management Assistance Team to Florida State EOC
  • 8 Member CONG team and Chinook to Tallahassee, Florida


Hurricane Helene EMAC Deployment

 
  • 5 Member Colorado IMT to North Carolina
  • 6 Member Colorado IMT to Flordia's Columbia County EOC
  • 1 DHSEM IMT Coordinator to Florida State EOC
  • 1 DHSEM Strategic Communications Director to North Carolina State EOC
  • 1 Voluntary Agency Liaison to Chesterfield, VA
  • 4 Member EOC Support Team to Columbia, SC
 
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024 an Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) request from the State of Florida was filled with 7 members from the Colorado Incident Management Team. The team deployed six people to the Columbia County Emergency Operations Center in Lake City, Florida for a 14 day assignment ahead of Hurricane Helene.  In addition to the Colorado IMT team deployed, DHSEM’s Incident Management Unit Supervisor deployed to the Florida State Emergency Operations Center to assist in coordinating all of the IMTs assigned through EMAC for the hurricane. The members assigned to Columbia County EOC are filling the following positions:

•2 EOC Managers
•1 Operations Section Chief
•1 Logistics Section Chief
•1 Safety Officer
•1 Planning Section Chief
